The toughest fight which people have in their life is not the big fights but it is a smaller one. We have seen with lot of people that they are committed to their own routine but when it comes to getting up early in the morning they are finding that as a major challenge or a BIG FIGHT . Is it really that challenging or it is easy to overcome , had it been so easy to overcome then why they have named this as a BIG Fight.

Getting up early in the morning is surely not a one day phenomenon , perhaps it is a constant journey of being consistent. How to start and can we change our routines are really tough questions to answer but one can surely explore the possible answers for these questions .

In this series of blog writing , we will explore some important questions which may play an important role for a person who really wants to change their habits and who is willing to be called as a ” Morning Person “

First and most important question which one need to ask themselves is do they have any specific purpose in their life and which they feel is difficult to achieve if they are not the early riser. Think about this question and what is your possible answer in the reply of this requires a deep thinking , so think , do you have any specific purpose which is motivating you to get up early in the morning ? and how getting up early in the morning will help you to accomplish your purpose?

How to remain strong in tough situations ?

When Going get tough tough gets going is an important saying . Tough people do last for long . In today’s world of social media relationships are more of artificial illusions and when you encounter a tough situation , you will understand the gravity of artificial illusions . Most important way of handling situation is to have least expectation from others .

Human Being is a social animal and as a natural phenomenon he or she expects that in tough situations people will stand by him/her and when expectation doesn’t meet it hurts individual .

Best way of handling tough problems are as follows

1) Focus on problem and it’s possible solutions

2) Don’t dwell on past and previous negative experiences

3) Try to build a zone where you doesn’t thing much about expectation from others

4) Be strong headed

5) in panic situations presence of mind is important and staying calm and focus is the key to build strong presence of mind

6) Remain happy , exercise as much as you can

7) Talk to such people who makes you happy and positive

8) This too shall pass is not only a saying but important to follow .

Is Influencer Marketing really works ?

In todays era of digital marketing and more and more people surfing and buying product online , there is surely a need of community . The community leads to establish opinion leaders and those opinion leaders these days are called as “influencer” . What is the meaning of the word called as ” Influencer ” . Influencer is surely one who influences your thought process , action , beliefs and perhaps opinion about particular product or services or personality or opinions .

The social media has started this phenomenon called as ” Followers ” where they are people who follows you on various social media platforms . As in Facebook we use to have this feature called as to add friends and initially there was a “Friend List” and now that ” Friend list” has changed its shape from ” friends list ” to ” Followers List” . As we speak I see that there is a difference between friends list and followers list and your friends may or may not be your follower and your follower may or may not be your friend .

The followers are those who follow you because they are fascinated towards your knowledge, behavior , action or understanding of products. If we start mixing the both then the essence of influencer is defeated . If we start requesting our friends to follow us than that may just a favour but not genuine follower or if we start going into that kind of prisoners dilemma that you follow me I follow you , in that case also the purpose is defeated .

Influencer marketing works when we don’t follow the conventional route of doing favour and ensuring that people genuinely follow you because they are influenced by your capabilities of influencing their decisions or it can be as small as that they like the content which you post . What is that is more important for a brand . We talk about it in marketing classes that is it the marketing mix or placement of product as per their stage in product life cycle or segment in which they are catering to , from last so many years most of the marketing theories revolve around traditional marketing practices and marketing concepts. For an example – One bakery shop is posting photographs entire day but not getting the leads which they wish to generate from those photographs and when analysed in detail , it is observed that quality and content of photos were not of that level where it can engage with people .

REAP and it’s importance in day to day life

People who face difficult circumstances and emerge stronger from that , are those people who inspires me a lot .

Resilience is an important attribute to be a part of such soul who emerge stronger from odd situations and how we define resilience at mental level, it is about building the right approach towards life .Belief dictates our thinking and how we think ,feel and act and to create a resilient mind set , we need to observe and examine those belief. For an example as a digital marketer if you believe that your campaign will not work , you will start feeling low on motivation and it may reflect on your body language also . A cricketing team is butchered by the opponents and if they start believing that they can’t bounce back , in such situations most of the time you will find that they end up on loosing side. Resilence and developing a positive belief and working hard to achieve that is a journey worth traveling. One of my friend who has suffered deep financial loss ,started believing that why it is happening only with me , and have gone into a zone of self pity and because of that he always look for sympathy from others . Such mindset reflects that succumbing to a circumstances further demotivates you in the process. Resilence with strong mindset is always a key to fight back, bounce back and in the process to remain happy. Be Resilent and Practice to be Resilent and see the wonderful opportunity which world is throwing back on you.

Embrace every season with a positive set of mind and fitness goals

“More we grow and more we learn” , is a wonderful way of looking into the positive outcomes of our own life. “More we grow and less we learn” is a mundane form of living a life , choice is ours to choose the former or latter . For example we have various season like fall , summer , winter ,rainy season and others , we look towards season as like oh i like summers more than the winter or rains more than summers , each individual can have their own preferences and that is understandable, but if we start enjoying each season with its own strengths and offerings which it offers then surely we will be more Impact.

In digital marketing and in our own fitness regime, we have trending hashtags and we have fitness goals respectively , if we embrace and engage people and our own self , we may create a better impact. Trends in Hashtags is like a phenomenon which every digital marketer wants to catch up with and for a reason is to get more of impressions . Same way we try to run more in winters and less in summers because we feel winter is a better season to stay fit than summers. Point which I want to make here is why to differentiate between hashtags , trends and season and take what suits us . If we embrace each season with our own innovative way and that will be more impactful . For example I am a 5k runner and I run more of 5k early in the morning in winters and early in the morning and late in the evening in summers just because I wish to embrace season with more meaningful dialogues. In Digital marketing also , we write content so that we can relate it with the trending hasthags but if we write content , where content is more important than the hashtags then may be we are talking more sense or more impact. Think about it and understand the concept of ” Embrace” and ” Engage” your impressions more with it . Have a wonderful season ahead.

Digital Marketers and Valentine day

As we speak , what is that which is the most important aspect of digital marketing , is it no of likes , comments , shares or having presence in each social media outlets or some thing else. Digital Marketers are always in pursuit to achieve right return of investments on any penny which brands / client is investing and that is where the battle of mind space or mind share starts . We have various events which are celebrated through out the year and one that important event is valentine day , a day where people express and show case their love for others , any day which celebrates love is an important day .

Brands will try to engage customers or stakeholder and celebrate valentine day in their special way and that’s where the point lies . Engagement with a brand or engagement with consumer journey can’t happen overnight . More you live with brand more it is reality. So some important conversations which brands will have with their own customers and their digital marketing plan is ,

  1. How to engage customers in a meaningful conversation ?
  2. What is most important , it is just engaging through any way or engaging through meaningful dialogues or honest content ?
  3. Is return of investment impact so powerful that we build stories to get quick ROIs?

I am consulting a company , and they were into products and services , where they provide unique experience to the customers by helping them to archive their memory , so that they can see that later on with more emotional appeal . In such kind of product categories , if we start expecting that overnight people will share and save their memories and engage with you, then i I think we are visualising results too early in the path . Now if we have to build engagement with a brand for valentine day , we can think about various creative inputs but one thing which can help you to get desired results, is that how are you gaining the trust of your customers and building confidence in them, that you are in their journey of emotional appeal and emotional connect rather than looking answers to those above mentioned questions immediately.
